Saint Mary of the Assumption is the Mother Church of Elizabeth and Union County. Since its foundation in 1844, Saint Mary of the Assumption, has served the City of Elizabeth Catholics as a spiritual center. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, we joyously celebrate the Holy Mass and Sacraments, live the Good News of the Gospel in our actions and programs, and encourage an ever deepening relationship with Christ Jesus.
